Doubly nonlinear elliptic-parabolic variational inequalities with variable exponents of nonlinearities

Abstract

We consider the initial value problem for the doubly nonlinear elliptic-parabolic vari-ational inequalities. The exponents of the nonlinearities of the inequalities depend on the spatial variables. Using the penalty methods, we prove the existence of the solution to this problem.
