Abstract

Smart monitoring and resource management in the modern environment depend on effective and safe sharing of water data. This work offers a Blockchain-based Embedded Water Data Communication System guaranteeing appropriate distribution of water-related data from one point of view while maintaining integrity and security. Two primary sensors gather water data for the system: a water level sensor ascertaining the current level of the tank and an ultrasonic sensor measuring the distance from a fixed point to the water surface. Handling these real-time data, the NodeMCU microcontroller shows the data on an LCD and gets it ready for transmission. Since a battery runs the entire system and a switch manually runs the remote or off-grid setup. Included inside the system is blockchain technology to provide safe, tamper-proof data flow. Every data packet—block—is securely hashed and authenticated before being transferred to the receiving end, therefore avoiding illicit modification and guaranteeing dependability of connection. The method is rather dependable since this blockchain technology offers extra degree of safety over data transfer. Ideal for municipal systems, agricultural, and disaster-prone areas, this project provides a smart, low-cost, scalable water monitoring and safe data sharing solution. It highlights the practical environmental applications of blockchain merging with embedded devices.
