Abstract

The increasing prevalence of diseases affects banana crops, and there is a rising need for efficient disease forecasting systems to improve crop health management. Through this literature review, we will analyze the present situation of disease prediction systems in the banana industry, examine the significance of these systems in mitigating disease outbreaks, and explore potential future developments in this field. By analyzing existing research and technology, this paper aspires to provide information on the advantages and difficulties of implementing disease prediction systems for crop health management in the banana industry. The review highlights the different approaches and technologies utilized in predicting diseases, like machine learning algorithms and also remote sensing technologies.
