Reversed Degree-Based Topological Indices of Alkane Line Graphs
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper investigates the topological indices based on reversed degree of the alkane line graph. The least reactive and most basic hydrocarbons found in organic compounds are alkanes, which are made up only of carbon and hydrogen atoms and lack any additional functional groups. In this work, the topological indices listed below were computed, specifically, the Reverse Randic index , Reverse atom bond connectivity index , Reverse geometric arithmetic index , Reverse first and Reverse second Zagreb indices , Reverse first and Reverse second Zagreb co-indices ,Reverse hyper Zagreb index , Reverse forgotten index , Reverse Balaban index ,Reverse first multiplicative-Zagreb indices , Reverse second multiplicative-Zagreb index and Reverse redefined first, second, and third Zagreb indices for the alkane line graph . The comparison of the topological indices has also been shown graphically. The results show that the Zagreb index with reverse first multiple has the highest value. It is demonstrated that the reverse first multiple Zagreb index has the best prediction performance among all the computed molecular descriptors. Additionally, a numerical and graphical comparison of these topological indices is included in this investigation.
