Abstract
The confluence of food safety and climate change presents a critical challenge for India, a nation heavily reliant on agriculture and characterized by diverse climatic conditions. Climate change, manifesting through rising temperatures, altered precipitation patterns, and increased frequency of extreme weather events, profoundly impacts food production systems. These environmental shifts not only threaten agricultural yields but also exacerbate risks associated with foodborne pathogens, contamination, and spoilage. In a country where food security remains a pressing concern, ensuring the safety of the food supply is paramount.1
