Abstract

The aim of this article is to form a new uniqueness result for a class of initial value problems involving a coupled system of nonlinear Riemann–Liouville fractional differential equations. The main tools involve the Banach contraction principle and the introduction of a new definition of measuring distance in an appropriate normed space. The new results improve some work of Shurong et al. 2012. An example is also given to illustrate our result.
