An extension of fixed point theorem of sehgal in b-metric spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we give a proof for Sehgal theorem of fixed point in b-metric spaces. Our result is supported with a suitable example. As a corollary of our results, we obtain well known fixed point theorem in b-metric spaces.
