Common fixed point theorems for four mappings under contractive conditions of integral type

Abstract

The existence and uniqueness of common fixed point for two classes of weakly compatible mappings satisfying contractive conditions of integral type in a metric space are proved. Two nontrivial examples are presented to illustrate that the results given in this paper extend indeed some known results in the literature.
